Windows 10: How to Play Wordament Offline

For years I've been playing Wordament offline. Now, a few days ago, I can't do this and a message comes up saying I can only play online. I don't want to be online while playing. Why has this changed, and how do I play offline again. I have Microsoft Edge, Windows 10, and have tried uninstalling and re-downloading it, nothing works. Thanks

Wordament update has made wordament unplayable

I was asked to update Wordament but each time it moves me forward for having got certain points for a level, when I go back to play it all words havegone. The stars are there but basically the game is unplayable. Any suggestions as to how I can put this
right, please.

Ive been playing WORDAMENT for several years to have been thrown out of it mid game. Can someone help me get back the Wordament App back a.s.a.p . I do not wish to start from scratch as I have huge rankings and a Tag that I play under. Thank You
