  1. How to prevent automatically connect different windows users to the same wifi network?

    Hi,

I created 2 Windows 10 usersUser1 and User2. As long as I connect to my wifi using admin User1, User2 connects to the same network every time. Settings like do not connect automatically does not help. I need to set User1 to use main wifi network and user2 to use different wifi network connecting automatically. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    :)

  2. Connect to a WiFi network automatically

    Hi everyone!

I was wondering if I could connect to a WiFi network (A) automatically even though I'm already connected to another WiFi network (B). The thing is, that network A is very unstable but is faster than B, and when A goes down, Windows 10 connects automatically
to B. But can Windows 10 reconnect to network A when it goes up again?

I already modified the network priorities so that A is first and B is second on the list.

    Thanks!

  3. aristosv Win User
set the default WiFi network per user

If I understand this correctly, these options will allow a "per user" default WiFi network. So if "user1" authenticates on "WiFiNetwork1", when "user2" logs in, Windows will not automatically connect him to "WiFiNetwork1" and will expect him to authenticate to a WiFi network. When "user2" connects to "WiFiNetwork2" that will be his default network whenever he logs in.

So it won't matter if Windows has a list of known WiFi networks, each user will automatically connect on their own WiFi network.

    I run these commands

But no luck. I "forgot" all WiFi networks, restarted, logged in with "user1" authenticated to "WiFiNetwork1" and as soon as "user2" logged in, he was already connected to "WiFiNetwork1".

Whereas when "user2" logged in, he should not have been connected to any WiFi networks.

  4. How to prevent automatically connect different windows users to the same wifi network?

Windows 10: Disable automatic connection of a wireless network

To further explain this question, let's start with a comparison between the steps you've outlined vs what I am seeing elsewhere. Your steps do provide the list of wifi networks that I use and are secured. However, when I click on the network symbol on
the lower right of the desktop screen (sorry, don't know what to call this area), it shows other networks that probably belong to the neighbors. Some of them are checked to 'automatically connect. I don't want to automatically connect to them. How can those
networks be permanently unchecked for 'automatically connect.' It cannot be permanently done on this list. Thanks, Joyce
