Windows 10: How to prevent users from deleting search history on Windows 11.

How can I lock down my search history to where no one can delete it?Or perhaps, is there a way to lock to down to where you need a password to delete it and make it more difficult?

Prevent users from deleting browsing history.

Hi Sara,

Requiring a password when deleting browsing history is not possible. However, you can have this option disabled under Local Group Policy Editor. Here's how:

• Right-click the Window key and click Run.
• Type in gpedit.msc and hit Enter.
• Once the Local Group Policy Editor is open, navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer.
• Double click Delete Browsing History.
• Look for Prevent access to Delete Browsing History, double click it, click
  Enable > Apply > OK.

Doing the above steps will deny access in Delete Browsing History dialog box for all standard users. If you want to do this on a user-basis, you'll have to follow the same procedure, but navigate to
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?

Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
