    How to prevent windows from deactivating?


    So here's the situation. I want to upgrade EVERYTHING in my PC except the hard drive. Last time I did this, windows deactivated. I was unable to use a lot of features. Even though I purchased the software. I'm also hoping to change my hard drive soon and was wondering how to flash my hard drive to another drive, without windows deactivating. Because I'm assuming it will do that. Thanks a bunch!

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
