    How to prevent Windows from self updating and make it stay in the same build


    Hi, I had a device that needs Windows 10 1803 build. I installed said built and followed some guides that provided a lot of aproaches to prevent updating. It didnt matter, at some point, the device start having problems and yeah, Windows self updated. I got some messages that said "windows can't update", and then the classic "update and restart" message.

    I really need to control this, I plan to reinstall Windows again in a few days. Thanks!

    Windows 10 Won't Stay Asleep

    Looks like there's an incompatibility with the drivers and the Creators update that you're using right now. May we suggest going back to your previous system build for now as it the only workaround we have for the issue right now. To do this, follow the
    steps below:

    • Open Settings window.
    • Click Update and Security, Recovery.
    • Select Get Started, under Go back.
