Windows 10: How to print contact data in people?

No print button in people. How do you print all the data and also how can you export it into Excel. It makes no sense to put all the data in people and then not be able to print it or export it????

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



The People app in Windows 10 doesn’t store any of its own data and displays the combined contacts that are collected from other sources. The only way you can print a backup of the People app’s content is by extracting the contacts information from
the Web Mail to an Excel sheet.

• Login to your web mail and look for the contacts option.
  
• Choose All Contacts and click on
  Manage > Export.
  
• The file will be saved in the .CSV format.

Print People app contacts list backup in Windows 10

For a hard copy back up, I would like to print out a paper copy of the People List (contacts) with the email address of each contact printed alongside. I am unable to find the file at users\user as suggested by other users. I can find a list of names of
contacts in the Windows 10 Mail app but you have to individually open each contact to see each email address. Any suggestions?

Windows 10 People app and printing contacts with addresses

Figured it out on my own. I had to enter the addresses of all contacts in People, which also created them in outlook. Then went into Excel and in the toolbar created an excel document which listed all contacts and addresses and filed that in My Documents, then
went into Word and in the toolbar followed the steps for creating a label list and merged the Excel contacts during the address label creation steps.
