    How to proceed with Win 11 repair upgrade


    I was having multiple issues with Windows 11 on a new HP Omnistudio. I followed MS support guidance and did an upgrade repair installation over the existing one, choosing to save all data and apps. After entering my Bitlocker recovery key, I’m presented with an option to Exit and continue to Windows rollback, use another OS, troubleshoot or turn off my pc. This is not what was described. How should I proceed?

    Upgrade to Win 11

    Trying to upgrade laptop to Win 11. My processor is listed on Microsoft compatibility list as one that will work with Win 11, but the health check says it won't and therefore will not allow upgrade. All other items on list are ticked green. Any advice please?

    Window 10 to 11 upgrade can't proceed

    Hi SproutTheRobot, tried the Windows 11 Installation Assistant but it's just referring to PC health check apps and PC health check apps is referring me to the build-in windows update. The others option listed in the link (Media creation toolkit and ISO) are more suitable for fresh install of window 11 rather than migration.

    Thanks guys for the help but after evaluating for a few days, we've decided it's still premature to upgrade to Window 11. Will follow Paloma suggestion and stop the upgrade prompt.

    Quite disappointed at window upgrade process and thus my company have loss confident in Window 11 as well.

    I can't upgrade to win 11. says my CPU not compatible I have a( I7 6700k). It is listed as one that is compatible
