Windows 10: How to properly create new partition and format HDD

HP ENVY- All-in-one 32-a10xxxIntelR CoreTM i5-10400 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHzRAM 16.0 GB 15.8 GB usableHDD 1 TBSSD 256 GBI recently just did a clean install of Windows 11 on my PC. Originally I installed windows onto the HDD and then afterwords realized I should have installed to the SSD. So I performed clean install again. This time I selected the SSD for windows OS. Now I am all done and the HDD is blank and ready for Partition/volumes to be created as it is showing as unallocated space. I am not real experienced in this kind of stuff and it has been fun learning as I go So, I defini

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

Windows 10 OS cloning Failed due to Bad Sectors on HDD Failure. Now I can't boot on both the original and new HDD

I have tried steps 1 and 2 for the Old HDD, but nothing has changed.

For step 1, it says, "The type of the file system is RAW. CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives".

 

Unresponsive HDD Partition.

I somehow managed to format the partition & its now unallocated space. Now, I cant create a new partition neither I can allocated that free space to other Partition. Can you suggest a way to repair that space in HDD?
