Windows 10: How to properly update my system?

Hello!i have a qustion, i am not quite sure how to perform this.so as i bought my computer it came with a cracked windows 10 version which now worries me because it is out of date and i cannot use certain features and cannot update my drivers to the newest version because it is not compatible with thhe windows version.so ive did many reinstalls and installs of systems on my own.my idea was to get a usb flash drive, download windows 10 from microsoft website and create a bootable drive and so install the windows.my concern is how am i going to install drivers , because i do not have a cd driver

Microsoft should filter Windows 10 updates properly and create a smoother installation system

Having spent two days trying to get the list of updates available actually installed (disk check/disk repair/et al) and a 'boffin' suggesting as a solution that I share my data with all and sundry, I decided to download the list manually.

It turns out that NONE of them are appropriate for Windows 10.

Can I suggest that Microsoft find a way of filtering these things properly and offer the opportunity of a check box system (as with Windows 8.1 RT) to designate which ones the user wants installing and making a distinction between important and other updates.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
