    How do I create a page break in a Notepad doc I am creating?

    Need to know how to create a page break in a Notepad doc I am creating. Everytime I search on how to do this I get instructions for MS Word NOT Notepad.

    many thanks for responding and trying to help me. the problem is that all of the docs in various folders that were word docs are no longer word docs - they only open on wordpad (and so parts of the docs cannot be seen). does anyone know why that would
    happen?

    I actually don't know if I have a current subscription to office.

    I moved your question from the Word forum to the Windows forum.

    WordPad is an application that comes with Windows and is different from Word.

    It is a rudimentary word processor. It does not show page breaks on the screen.
