Windows 10: How to put the resolution 3620x1527 and put the taskbar at the top of the screen?

I recently updated to Windows 11 and right away I saw that the resolution had decreased, I tried to change it from 2560x1080 to the one I used in Windows 10 which is 3620x1527, but it always sends the message that it cannot change to that resolution and try a different one , even though I always use the same resolution in Windows 10 without any problems, I tried to update the video card drivers but the same thing continued. Another problem I saw was that no matter where I looked, I couldn't find where it's possible to place the taskbar at the top of the screen, if that's possible in Windows 11

I suggest you to change the Screen Resolution and check if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Press ‘Windows ’ key on the keyboard.
• In the search box, type Settings
  
• SelectSystem > Display > Advanced display settings.
• Under Resolution, select a new value. We suggest you stick with the resolution marked
  "(Recommended)”.

Also try locking and then unlocking the Taskbar and check if this helps. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click an empty space on the taskbar.
• If Lock the Taskbar has a check mark next to it, the taskbar is locked.
  
• If it does not have a check mark, click Lock the Taskbar.

Screen Resolution too big

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
• Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.

windows of modern apps goes under taskbar at maxmize size when taskbar is in top of screen

Hi Amin,

As you have specified that you have set the resolution to 1366x768 it will not hamper the way the apps are displayed when the taskbar is set on top.

To rectify this, I suggest that you reset your taskbar back to default, that is, on the bottom and check if it overlaps when placed in that position.

If not, place the taskbar back to the top of the display screen, reboot the computer and check.
