Windows 10: "How-to" question re migration to new PC

I've searched high and low on several forums for an answer to my question with no success. Thus, posting here.I purchased a new Dell PC laptop with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. Invoice states: Includes Windows 11 Pro LicenseMy old PC laptop is 6 1/2 years old and is running Windows 10 Home which was pre-installed by HP at the time of purchase.Rather than starting from scratch with a new PC therefore requiring the re-installation of hundreds of programs with all their settings, preferences and tweaks applied over a 6 year period, I instead wanted to retain my current system and run it on the

Migrating to new PC

Hello,

I bought a new PC and wanted to know if the stored credentials and themes on the old PC can be transferred to the new PC. I've already transferred apps and and my documents over to the new PC. It seems the migration tool I used missed the credentials and
themes.

Can these be transferred to the new PC?

Yes, the file name for the ISO file is different - use the v1511 ISO file.

 

Migration; PC to Mac

I am trying to migrate my files and apps from Windows 10 Pro to a new MacBook Air. Opening the Migration Assistant, following all steps, it comes to a point where it states I must Close WINDOWS MAIL in order to proceed. I have tried everything in the book
to close or remove this program and it just wont happen. I don't use WINDOWS MAL and never have. No idea what it does. Just know it won't close and allow the migration of my files and programs from my PC to my Mac. How can I get this done???
