Windows 10: How to re-download deleted photos

Hi,I recently downloaded photos from an iphone using the Photos App in Windows 11. About one hundred of the photos did not download properly only partially show the photo due to an unknown error, so I deleted them from the Photos app one-by-one. Now I would like to re-download just these deleted photos from the iphone. I synced the phone, but the Photos app is saying there are no new photos, but will allow me to download all of them again, which I believe will create duplicates. Is there a way to get these 'deleted' photos to sync properly? They are still on the phone. The Photos app thinks

Multiple Photos

We suggest that you follow the steps below to delete the photo through Photos app:

• If you’re looking at your list of photos in Photos app, select the photos by clicking on checkbox on the photos you want to delete. Click
  Delete icon at the bottom right corner to delete.
• If you open a photo, Tap or press Delete
  key from keyboard.

Deleting photos in Windows 10

- Are you using Photo app or other app?

If you are referring to Photo app, follow the below steps and check.

[*]1. In the Photos app, go to the folder with the files you want to delete.
[*]2. Do one of the following:

• If you’re looking at your list of photos and videos, swipe down on or right-click the files you want to delete. You can also tap or click
  Select all.
  
• If you open a photo or video, swipe up from the bottom or right-click to see the app commands.
  

3. Tap or click
Delete.

• 
  

You can also delete photos using the Camera app, the OneDrive app, or File Explorer.

The above steps are the only way to delete the photos.

Downloading photos in Windows 10

Downloading from Panasonic digital camera.

I have followed the steps but "Import/Export photos doesn't appear in the dropdown list. Since this is the first time I am downloading into this computer with Windows 10 it was suggested that I need to load new drivers but I can't seem to find them.
