Windows 10: How to re-enable the pop up screen for realtek ports.

I have a port problem where I think my input port is not connected to Line in as it has been for a year proceeding. I get now now input on this port and a weird event Device settings for SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.1.00000000}.{e935ec41-bb75-4dd2-b881-89e48a7d3d5e} were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match. I need to enable popups there used to be a click shift sequence to get an advanced popup screen on the Realtek Control Panel Screen

Can someone tell me how to enable this port to what it was before it was messed up?

You really need to improve your posting skills.

1) you linked to a windows 7 question (which doesn't provide any sort of answers) for your windows 11 computer

2) you don't provide your computer model, your realtek driver version (I had to look at another post to find out).

3) you don't tell us that you are using a mixer (i.e. an "industrial" streaming gig).

4) "device settings not migrated..." really means nothing to us beacuse 99% of the poster who post that don't realize that that screen has reverse timeline. Most people don't scroll down to the end of the list which ends up will say device started ok.

Your motherboard has a recent realtek usb audio firmware update, so update the firmware.

Re-install your motherboard's realtek audio driver from March, MUST install using the installer exe (often called setup.exe).

If you don't get the pop up, then go and launch realtek audio console.

Have you tried reinstalling the realtek adapter driver yet? If not please try reinstalling it after downloading it from your device manufacturer support site.

If you require help finding it please mention the brand and model of your laptop.

This can be found out by clicikng on the search bar on the desktop and typing in msinfo and pressing enter.

The detail is listed against system model in the window that comes up.
