    How to Re-use Snips

If you want to open a Screenshots image as a snip to re-use it; maybe, you want to mark it up or modify it in some way before using it, again. Well, here is how you can do that:1. Open Snipping Tool from Applications, not via Win+Shift+S nor Print screen key.Now hit Snipping Tool's ellipsis & click on Open FileAnd, NOW, open the same image. Done this way it opens as an actual Snip, again! that can be treated & reused however you want, again! Cheers,Drew

Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

  3. snipping tool

    Please try this:

    Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

    Click Reset,

    Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

    Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

    Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

    • Windows Push Notifications System Service
    • Windows Push Notifications User Service

  4. How to Re-use Snips

    Screen snip not displaying snips

    hi,

I'm using Win10 Enterprise LTSC, I have been using Screen snip and it works well, but today when I take a snip the snip is not displayed, I've tried rebooting but this didn't make any difference, I checked Apps and Features and screen snip is not listed in it. The steps I took are: Click on Action Centre, select Screen snip, the screen snip icon appears on the top of the screen, screen goes grey and cursor turns into a crosshair, I select the area for the snip but nothing happens, the screen snip application should launch but it doesn't. Any ideas how to fix this?
