    How to reactivate a recovered Win-10 laptop


    Can someone help me. My laptop went south because of some bad sectors on the HD. After I marked them as bad in the bios, Win-10 recovered. Now it needs to be reactivated and I'm not sure how to do this. Also, Office 365 products are not working. I unloaded it. I have a subscription and I can't get it to reinstall.

    Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

    Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.

    Please do let us know with the following to assist you better:

    • How exactly are you trying to mount the system image?
    • Have you tried the basic troubleshooting steps such as, Automatic repair using Windows 10 ISO?
    • Are you able to enter into Safe mode from Windows Recovery Environment?


    I suggest you to perform system restore by following Windows Recovery Environment>
    Advanced Options and check.
