Windows 10: how to receive emails th appear to have been blocked for a day

I can send but can]t receive emails from my hotmail account since yesterday. some friends contacted me by phone to advise me that i have been hacked. Perhaps it is tied to that. can]t change my password as i can't get the code by email. got the code by text but still can]t reset. just getting the runaround.i]m a senior and not so savvy but am anxious to resolve this issue. many of my friends have been contacted by the hacker. HELP

No emails received

Windows home version 22H2.64bit.Firefox 109.0.1. My email address has not received a single email in 3 days,it is a hotmail.com address in Outlook, my other email address is working ok and I usually get the same emails in both.I did send a test email from the other to hotmail.com and it worked.Any suggestions?

If you have not, check the folders on the left column. (spam, trash, archive, etc) I have an old hotmail acct and recently had some messages from inbox go to archive.

Try blocking the address by following these steps:

1- Enter in Outlook.com, click on the gear (options).

2- Tap on more mail configuration options.

3- In the section to avoid unwanted email and click on safe and blocked senders.

4- Enter blocked senders and then enter the email address and click on add to the list.

With this option you should not receive more emails, in such case to carry out these steps and these emails keep coming to you please notify the abuse address provided.
