Windows 10: How to recover files from desktop? Tricky edition

Hi, Just deleted some image files from the desktop and want to recover them. I had windows file recovery disabled so I looked for other tools. Trying Glary, Recuva, EaseUS, etc. proved unsuccesful until I downloaded a trial version of wondershare recoverit, and after a surprisingly rapid scan, there they were! It found everything, but I couldn't download a single file unless I bought a rather hefty subscription. I read on their website free trials were available 100MB max upon creating an account, I did it and here comes the tricky part:It made me download a different version of the same
