Windows 10: How to recover one drive deleted files?

I had no ideea that MY DESKTOP was on One drive, since I think is a really dumb ideea to have that as default wthout a specific consent/confirmation and when I saw some of my files in the "One Drive" folder I deleted them, since I did not want them on "cloud", just on my personal laptop. I call it personal since I do not have any intention to have any of the files anywhere else. Suddenly I notice that my desktop files were gone, important files that I need, and no longer have, since aparently I do not have a "desktop" on my laptop, just an interface for an online desktop.I can not comprehend t

windows by default does not have HFS and HFS+ based hard drives.
Able to perform retrieval on both HFS and HFS+ based hard drives. and so will not work with windows

Thanks for your reply. I used my m8s program and it worked like a dream, recovered all the files and also deleted ones from yrs back, was amazed how well it did. Next step is i will use that Partition Table Doctor to recover the deleted partition. Thanks for the link *Toast :toast:
