    How to recover photos from a old computer


    Hi y’all, I have a computer that will no longer turn on and it has photos from 2005 on it of my dead cat so it’s quite important it is a compaq 110 if that helps. It will not turn on even if I charge it. Is there any way to save my photos?Thank youSent by Emilia Buteau on May 1st 2024

    I am sorry.. I have no idea what that is.. I am pretty green I'm afraid.

    I wasn't trying to recover any files.. I wanted to format a new drive in an old computer.. The old drive died.

    I did what Namslas90 said but then when I got to the next step .. and hit enter.. nothing happened.. sigh...

    Anyway.. I am waiting on the next step.. Thank you for your input ...

    How to recover photos from a old computer

    Recovering photos: Help appreciated.

    Due to a camera malfunction, some photos from the memory card were deleted. My friend and me were able to recover them with help of recovery software but some photos are grayed out(50%). The memory card was left intact and no new data was written in our knowledge. It is in the FAT file format and a 4 GB card.

    Is there any way to recover the photos in their original state?
