Windows 10: How to recover SystemSetting and WiFi/Audio panel hangs in Win11 24H2?

Hello, need help, thanks!Unfortunately after 1 week with 24H4 in perfect condition and daily use, I've got the issue again.1. we fixed 24H2 SystemSetting and WiFi/Audio panel hangs after installing Win11 24H2 - Microsoft Community and system setting was browsable, wifi panel popup with the new multipage layut and pop-out.2. several days of daily use and the issue is back:- system setting opens with the gear icon in the middle of the panel see picture below stays for 70 secs and then closes itself- wifi panel pops up black no labels - see picture - quite wierd and stays forever eve

computer hang & BSOD

3 dumps point to 3 different device drivers:

• One blames McAffee.
• One Blames your NVIDIA Virtual Audio Driver
• The last one says your Intel WiFi network adapter

I suggest completely uninstalling McAffee and using
built in defender in its place for some time.

The next step would be completely uninstalling and reinstalling both the above said drivers.

 

Audio stuttering after wake

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:



1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Expand the “System devices” category.
  
• Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
  
• If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
  

2. Test with External Audio Device:

• Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
  
• If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
  

3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

• Go to Control Panel > Sound.
  
• Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
  
• Click on the “Properties” button.
  
• Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
  
• Uncheck all the enhancement options.
  

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.

Can not record audio.

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
