Windows 10: How to recover Taskbar functionality after broken by the March 2025 MS update?

My nominally functional Windows 11 PC with Feb.2025 MS updates had a major fail after the March 2025 update: On restart after the update, the Taskbar is absent, but I can get it to appear by restarting Explorer in Task Manager Control/Alt/Delete will start Task Manager. At first the Taskbar is blank expect for the search box, all app icons absent. The Search box doesn't accept any input. After some minutes, Taskbar app icons appear and function, but the Windows icon doesn't open its menu. Apps that have shortcuts can be started and run normally. I can access the PC across my network with Rem

Microsoft is killing off support for the WSA. Would all Android apps, including apps installed by using an APK, will just simply ceases to function after March 5th 2025?

As users here don't work for Microsoft it's difficult to verify exactly what will happen. Certainly after 5 March 2025 if the Amazon app gets an update that cannot be applied to Windows 11 then it will stop working.

Some others may have better knowledge about how it works generally but if the apps depend on WSA to function then they will stop after 5 March 2025.

I have March updates that will not install. The automatic updates for 2018-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1709 for x64 based system (March KB4088776) were activated and downloaded to my computer, but they will not install on shutdown/restart.
When I check for updates, it shows that the updates are downloaded, but when I click to uninstall, there is not a date for installation. I have researched the Windows suggestions for this problem. They tell me to remove the January 2018 updates (January
KB4056892) and then reinstall the March update. When I attempted to uninstall the January update, I could see the update listed in the check for downloads screen, but when I click uninstall, the January update has a different reference number. Please advise.
I have talked to my technology department and they can't determine next steps either. VERY FRUSTRATING. I need my computer for work.

The WSA is generally consisted of the Android OS, and no such the proprietary thing else. There is the kernel of the linux, so WSL have some codes there. There is the libs, the runtime, framework. And no apps. The WSA is merely Android but with no such launcher, neither Google Apps, nor, after March 5 2025, if there's the Amazon Appstore. It needed barely an app to function.

Many users managed to tamper with the WSA to include the Google Play.

Bump my question on my behalf or get the Microsoft, the MVPs, or the mods to reply deeply to the fate of the Windows Subsystem for Android.

NO ONE REALLY WANT TO EXPECT THE WINDOWS SUBSYSTEM FOR ANDROID TO CEASE FUNCTIONING IN 2025.

NOR ARE THERE ANYONE WHO THEY WANT the android apps to suddenly stops working in the date frowned by microsoft.
