Windows 10: How to recover the new HP laptop? Bitlocker problem

I bought a new HP laptop and setup everything, I created a MS account too! Then after a month, some update came up and after restart it is asking for bitlocker password! now I forgot the MS email id which I created, how can I recover my laptop? I have the bill, and everything to prove that the laptop is mine! please help me.

I liked hp pavilion 360x series..suggest similar in other good brands..

I don't know why everyone hates hp so much? I have used 3 laptops from hp in last 10 yrs..latest is hp envy 17 3d , 4.5 yrs till now, first time encountered hardware problem now, that got fixed too with routine service...might need to replace fan later. But no major issue till now.. working like new even now

My MS account has my device listed and a link to access my BitLocker recover key but it doesn't work, how do I get this? HELP!

I'm totally confused. I can't get this BitLocker key from MS, and when I spoke with HP they said my only option was to delete everything on my computer AND buy a new copy of windows to reinstall it?

This is a high-end 1 year old home PC, all I did was turn it on today and I get this blue screen telling me to enter my BitLocker recover key. Why can't I get a recovery key from MS?
