Windows 10: how to recover the video recording: computer turned off while recording my desktop using...

Dear All,


I was recording my screen using capture option of XBOX game bar in windows. Suddenly the computer was plugged out, and it seems I have lost the video file.


I want to know is there a way I could recover the recorded video?


Can it be in the temp folder somewhere?


It seems there is a solution here for audio recording, I was wondering is there also a solution for a video file?

We suggest that you run troubleshooting for Audio Recording by following these steps:

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Desktop Video Recorder Needed

I've scowered the internet trying to find free desktop video recording program only to find that most either encounter errors or don't record quality video. Can anyone recomend a good desktop recording program? I'm suprised Tech power up doesnt have one in thier downloads section.

Reply there are freeones such as desktop video recorder but it gets an error everytime I try and record. 2nd xfire recorder only works in cetain games. Most work with the program but i've come across a few that dont.
