    Using a W7 key to install/activate W10?

    Hello,

    I have an old laptop that has been junked but I have W7 Ultimate key that was for that machine. I am building a new gaming PC that will need an OS and I need to know the best way to go about this (if possible).

    Can I install W10 on the new build and use the W7 key to activate it? Or do I need to install W7 first and do the upgrade?

    W7 reinstall DVD

    I gave away my older W7 computer to my nephew. Of course, it has all my personal stuff on it. I suggested he formats it and install a new W7.

    Question is: Can it be done?

    And: How?

    He can't seem to find a W7 DVD in our area that is not overpriced.

    Activate W7 ?!

    Hi

    I bought an Lenovo Laptop with W7 pro Preinstalled with a "Downgrade Licence" from W10.

    So the W7 install was **** and I saved the Key who was installed and installed (with a lot of trouble!) the Fresh W7.

    Now the Graphic works.

    The major Problem I cant enter the Key!

    When I copy the Key in I get only this Error:

    0xC004E003 Der Softwarelizenzierungsdienst hat gemeldet, Lizenz-Evaluierung fehlgeschlagen.

    So how to active W7?
