Windows 10: How to recovery the unsaved file of voice recording app?

I was recording a file and suddenly the internet went off. I thought the voice recording app automatically saved it since I am using Windows 10. I closed the app without looking at anything on the left side of file storage. I shut down the computer. later I turn on my computer and went to the voice recording app directory but I couldn't find the recorded file. So far, I looked at the temp, recycle, and, voice recording app directory. Is there a way to recover the unsaved file?

Voice Recorder Crashes

I tried to use the program you recommended. I have a feeling it is the solution to my problem but I have not got it to work. The file name is Re-Install and Re-Register a Single App for Current Account . The instructions were:

1. Open a Command Prompt
2. Copy and Paste the command

These image files show what happened when I tried to enter the instruction in Command prompt.

can't find voice recorder in Win10

We suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the app. To do this, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key and type Windows Powershell in search box.
• Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.
• Type the following command

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.WindowsSoundRecorder * | remove-appxpackage

4. Re-install the
Window Voice Recorder app from the Windows Store.
