    How to redeem credit from Microsoft account


    My son received a $25 Xbox gift card but we accidentally applied it to my Microsoft account. Despite almost two hours of searching, we can’t seem to use that $25 and apply it to his Xbox. In fact, we somehow have a $65 credit on our Microsoft account but no way to spend it. Customer support sent us in circles. Help!

    I'm from Romania, Europe, don't know if my language will be available but i don't want it in my language, i want it in english.

    I've done both Online and Windows 10 steps from the link, but still the same error:

    Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page.

    Hi. I have been using Microsoft rewards for some time now and I was finally able to redeem a Microsoft 5 dollar gift card. I followed all the instruction listed on the screen and received 5 US dollars in my account balance. Now, the question I have is
    how do I redeem this account balance, I want to rent a movie? (Do I need to put my credit card details in to redeem this account balance?)

    Based on the information that you've provided, you were not able to redeem your gift cards. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask the following:

    • Were you getting any error messages when trying to access microsoft.com/redeem? If so, could you possibly send us a screenshot?
    • Have you tried to use any other browser to access the said website?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you check on this
