Lost my outlook mail.The error message I get attempting to recover from an apparently underage account which is not true is: "You need to be in the same region to give this child parental consent for their Microsoft account."

Hello everyone,

I am facing a challenging issue that I hope someone can help me with. Recently, there was a Windows update that seems to have disabled a login option(pin) that I used to rely on. To make matters worse, I've unfortunately forgotten the password for my user account.

I attempted to use the backup recovery method, which is to receive a verification code on my phone. However, I am not receiving any codes, and I have verified that my phone can receive other messages, so it seems like the issue is specifically with the Microsoft account recovery process.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to regain access to my account without losing any data? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Lost password, did not have old one, did not create any folders or sent e-mails with that account. I have barely information to provide when ask about regaining access to account.
