Windows 10: how to regain access to sensitive account info

I cant access my account. I finally waited the month to reset my phone number, but I had to sign into microsoft to do something else at the time, so after I reset it and it told me I had to wait another 30 days for it to take affect, I went back to login so I could access my subscriptions. And then, with no warning, without it even ASKING ME, it cancelled the request to change my phone number. Just said it cancelled it. Done. WHY. I need a way to re do the request, because now it has been about three freaking months of me trying to change this stupid phone numbers because of all these security

Hi Shawn, many thanks for the above. Let's see. The "Because you're accessing sensitive info"-popups tend to show up at random. Sometimes in Excel, sometimes in Outlook.

BTW...
On top I am a bit puzzled as to the 'wmic' listing, where I am displayed at the bottom, instead of at the top as administrator.
Whereas under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts I am listed at administrator.

Any idea?

I know account name but lost password on my mobile phone. How can I regain access to account and change password?

When doing a search on Internet, it seems that this "Because you're accessing sensitive info, you need to verify your password" seems to be a regular occurrence. It has also been discussed in the below thread.

In the 1st (administrator) group, name is blank, contrary to local account.

Frankly, I have no idea as to how to proceed from this point on.

p.s. Being uncertain about releasing SID numbers I changed them, just for safety sake.

BTW I see 'Xbox' stuff in the taskmanager and yourphone whatever.
Neither one I use.

How to get rid of them?
