    how to reinstall hp printer that was just uninstalled?


    My hp envy inspire 7200e series constantly gives "indicated cartridges are not communicating" message, when new cartridges were just installed. I've tried troubleshooting methods but did not clear to enable printing. I followed suggestion of uninstall & install again but now computer states printer cannot be found. What do I do to make my printer work again? Appreciate your help.

    Uninstall HP ENVY 5020 All-in-One Printer

    FWIW, I used the following steps to uninstall an HP Envy 5660 from several machines, always with success. I don't know if "any traces" are left, but I have no problem reinstalling or installing a different HP printer. Remove previous HP Envy 5660 printer drivers by doing the following: a. Turn off printer and uninstall any HP software under programs b. Remove device HP Envy 5660 under Control Panel/Devices and Printers c. Run “printui.exe /s” and under Drivers tab, remove any HP Envy 5660 drivers and packages d. Reboot the PC HTH

    Keep getting HP Printer driver updates for printer that was uninstalled

    HP printer driver updates reinstall on my desktop despite the HP Printer having been uninstalled long ago and it does not appear on the printer device list. I just recently was advised on how to stop the windows HP Printer updates, which worked, but now
    see in the update history that the HP driver was installed.
