    How to reinstall Windows 10 on a Windows 10 system with a hard KMode Exception not handled


    After hours of attempting to resolve the KMode Exception error, the only path forward seems to be to reinstall WIndows 10 from ISO.

    While this system will boot normally, it will fail with the KMode error long before the Windows installer starts.
    Would like to install from ISO in Safe Mode, but everything I've read suggests that the WIndows installer will not run in Safe Mode.

    Is there any path forward here?

    We suggest that you try the workaround suggested on DonchakVS's reply on August 5, 2015 and check if it resolves the issue:

    Windows 10 - BSOD: KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED (cng.sys).

    How to reinstall Windows 10 on a Windows 10 system with a hard KMode Exception not handled

    BSOD KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

    Newly updated to Windows 10 Pro and now getting BSOD KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. System in rebooting shortly after starting up. Any help appreciated.
