    How to release server license from old device


    Hello, I purchased a server 2019 license key while in school. I installed it on a computer which has since been wiped and used for something else. How do I get the server license released so I can use it on a new server I have set up. It currently will not let me activate it. Thanks, Ian

    Not R2? It will suffice but it was "Vista Server" and kinda old by now. But certainly not suggesting you fork over for a new 2102 license either.
