Windows 10: How to remap a random key into a modifier key?

Thanks to the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator I was able to create my custom keyboard layout.

But in french, as for other languages, we have alot of accents.

The characters ù à è are often used. So it is convenient to have them accessible without playing twister with our fingers. But since there are alot of accentued letters, it takes alot of slots on a keyboard.

There is a key modifier, accessible with [Alt Gr] + [7] which gives an accent modifier : `

The next letter you will write will get the accent :

[Alt Gr] + [7] + e gives è

[Alt Gr] + [7] + a gives à

[Alt Gr] + [7] + u gives ù

-> Can I remap this key modifier ? So I can input this key with a single keystroke instead of pressing altgr + 7

So instead of having a key for {à}, a key for {ù}, and a key for {è}, I would just have a {`} key

Hello,

My physical detach key (on the keyboard) no longer works. After extensive troubleshooting and a visit to the microsoft store, it was determined that the issue is a problem with the actual key (i.e. hardware problem, not software problem). The detach key
is not essential but it is practical, and I would like to remap it to replace another key if possible by editing the registry. However, I am unable to find the scancode for the detach key.

Is it possible to remap the physical detach key to another key (e.g. the "menu" button)?
