Windows 10: How to remove access to one drive etc on stolen laptop?

My laptop was stolen, what do I need to do to make sure they can’t access my one drive etc on the laptop?I’ve changed my Microsoft account password but the laptop would be logged in to one drive without needing a password? When trying to find the answer to this question online the phrase “trusted devices” comes up a lot but I can’t find this on the mobile version of the Microsoft account, is it now just “devices”? All I can see is “remove this device” - but it’s not clear if doing this would stop the thieves ability to access my one drive on the stolen device? I need to know steps to take when

Sign into your Microsoft account. There should be a "devices" tab towards the right. Open that tab and remove the device from the list. Also, change your Microsoft account password as recomended.

Sign in to account.live.com. If your device is listed like in screenshot 1, click 'See all'. On the next screen, if you've activated 'Locate device' you'll see it's location if it was signed in. The Remove laptop' option is highlighted. Good Luck.

stolen windows 10 laptop.

My Acer Aspire laptop running Windows 10 64 bit was stolen Saturday morning.

Device has not been turned on, or connected since it was stolen. I went to Microsoft support site and it showed the last location that my laptop was used at. I clicked on Lock button. Microsoft said they can't locate my device, but will send me an email
when my laptop has been detected. Will Microsoft automatically Lock my laptop when it has been activated, and connected to internet, or will i have to go back to the support site and click on lock button again? What exactly happens when Microsoft locks a stolen
device, does it make it difficult for thieves to access my laptop. Does Microsoft have the capability to remote wipe the hard-drive of my laptop, using port to port process? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, especially advice on any options for
wiping the hard-drive of my laptop using port to port, or software. I have no tracking software

installed on laptop.
