Windows 10: how to remove an illegal volume license and install a legal Win10 pro oem license

I recently bought a new 5th Gen Intel mini-pc with a factory installed Windows 10 pro O.S. It turns out that the China based company used a volume license for the pc. If I understand correctly it is illegal to install on PCs for home use. I didn't discover the problem until it was past Amazon's return window! I have an unused Win10 pro OEM still in the sealed pkg but I am not sure if just formatting the current operating sytem or using command prompt to "clean" the disk will get rid of possible UEFI bios entries that might leave the PC still operating on a volume license, and use up that new key in the process. My Win10 pro OEM is the 2004 version and I would prefer to download the latest version available with the Media Creation tool to a usb key and install using just the key from the new package during the install.

I am concerned that this and any future re-installs might revert back to the volume license and not the new OEM license since Microsoft allows re-installs by checking the hardware for a match and I don't know if the new install with a different key will get rid of the volume license currently tied to the hardware.

I used command prompt to check on the license type and have attached screen snaps of the current license info.

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

I bought Windows 10 Pro for home for 150$. Then I activated my Windows by using that activation key. By the way, I wanted to know whether I have bought OEM, Retail or Volume license key. Then I saw that I have activated Volume_MAK Channel license. Also I
saw that it is illegal to use volume license keys. Is this license key legal or illegal ?

FYI :

OEM licenses are NOT transferable.... You need to buy a volume license.

You have to buy the volume licensing through a third party and for your business it will typically cost you about 75-150% more than buying the same number of OEM licenses!

Win 10 Home OEM is £77 inc. VAT.
Win 10 Pro OEM is £110 inc. VAT.

The OEM versions are the same as full retail.

The terms of the license differs in that you are not supposed to install on your personal PC, but can put it on someone else's.

i.e. I could 'legally' put them on your PCs; which I am happy to do for nothing, if that's what you want to say. *Wink

I suggest you go this route.
