Windows 10: how to remove an organization from my computer

My father left us me and my brother one of his old laptops when he was working at IBM. We restarted the laptop and got to the sign in screen which we put in one of our personal accounts and it did not work. it said we need to sign in with an IBM work account. We tried our school accounts. but nothing works so we can't finish the set up of the laptop. Is there a way to remove the organization after we have reset the laptop?

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Organization on my computer

I have accidentally allowed my company organization onto my computer. The organization requires that I change my password on my computer every 90 days. How do I remove this organization? I removed it from Outlook and it was removed from my computer.

The favorite that you are referring is Edge or Internet Explorer browser, I would suggest to clear cookies and history or right-click on the list which you want to remove by selecting delete.

Follow the steps on how to clear cookies.

To view your browsing history, select Hub >
History. To delete it, select Clear all history, choose the types of data or files that you want to remove from your PC, then select
Clear.

Note: applicable to Edge browser.

For internet Explorer follow the steps below.
