  1. How to remove annoying startup from the task manager's startup list?

Whenever I start my laptop, it automatically startups irrelevant temp files. Many file explorer tabs and notepad files are opened repeatedly. These corrupted files are located in the temp folder. I have deleted these files. I also fully scan the laptop to remove any virus. But all in vain,on the startup, these files are again generated automatically and pop up in a recursive manner.I don't want to disable these files from startup only. I want to remove/stop these highlighted in the attached screen shot temp files from starting up and popping up.

    :)

  2. Manually place an app in Task Manager startup folder?

I already have a scheduled task for it, but it is not listed in that active tabs summary list.

If it matters, it does run when finding it in the task manager library, right clicking and selecting "run".

I didn't find anything in it's Task Manager properties for "run at startup". All my scheduled tasks were only set up to avoid the "User Account Control" permission.

  3. Task Manager-Startup

Here are three methods to invoke a task:

    1. By placing a program or a shortcut into this folder:

      c:\Users\Michael\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
    2. By specifying it in this registry location: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    3. By creating a scheduled task that gets triggered at startup or at logon time.

    Task Manager - Startup tab

Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.
