Windows 10: how to remove bitlocker key on D: Drive

in my laptop d drive locked by Bit-Locker how to remove it plz help me.

How to delete D drive encrypted by Bitlocker without password or recovery key?

There's a Dell PC running Windows 10 in my office that a previous user had that they created an encrypted D drive with Bitlocker. The guy has left and nobody has proper contact with them.

I don't care about the data on the D drive I just want to delete the drive off the PC. Steps I have already taken are:

• Reinstall Windows
  
• Reset the PC with the options "Remove everything" and "Only drives where windows is installed"
  

When I chose the option "All drives" I get an error saying "There was a problem resetting your PC".

Can anyone provide instructions on how to delete the D drive encrypted with Bitlocker?

Please make sure you are signed as the Administrator of the computer.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive

  Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

  Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
  
• 
  A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption. Click
  Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.
  

To turn off BitLocker Drive Encryption

• 
  Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

  Find the drive on which you want BitLocker Drive Encryption turned off, and click
  Turn Off BitLocker.

  A message is displayed, informing you that the drive will be decrypted and that decryption may take some time. Click
  Decrypt the drive to continue and turn off BitLocker on the drive.

D drive asking for bitlocker 48 digit key. How to recover

I have a dell laptop which came with windows 10 pre-installed.

As pc was running slow, i got ssd installed and removed dvd driver.

Ssd is now in c drive, which is hosting os.



my old harddrive which is still there in the laptop and partition name is changed to d drive.

Now my d drive i.e. old harddisk which came pre-installed with the laptop is asking for 48 digit bitlocker key to access.

I had not linked my pc to Microsoft account. Please guide how can i recover my data from drive D.

I do not remember enabling bitlocker or setting any password for bitlocker in my system.
