  3. I want to lower my resolution

Hi! I'm starting to play an old game but it has black bars at the sides. In my other computer I solved this using a program that sets my resolution to 800x600 while I play the game. Now I have a laptop but the lowest resolution I can have is 1024x768 and
using that program I can get to 640x480, but not the 800x600 I need to play that game at fullscreen without black bars. Is there any way to lower my resolution to 800x600 exactly? My laptop model is HP 15bs015dx.

  4. How to remove black bars when lowering resolution?

I want to lower my resolution

    Hi Facundo,

It's possible that your laptop does not support a lower resolution. But we can still check if we can activate it through the
Display settings. Follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on your desktop and click Display settings.
    • Select Advanced display settings at the bottom of the page.
    • Select Display adapter properties.
    • Click on List All Modes.
    • Look for the resolution you prefer and select OK.
    • Click Apply.

    Looking forward to your response.
