Windows 10: How to remove current administrator from computer and add new one

I am trying to setup new computer for another user and can't get my information out of the system in order for them to be owner of computer and administrator for system

hey how do i switch the administrator or remove the current administrator account and make a new one?

I suggest you to enable the built-in Administrator account by following the steps below:

• Right click in the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the below command:

Net user administrator active:yes

3. Restart the computer and login to the built-in Administrator account.

4. Delete the account which is not required and make the required account as Administrator.

5. Sign-out from the built-in administrator account and login to the other account which is made as the Administrator and check for status.

After creating a new Administrator account, disable the built-in Administrator account by following the steps below:

• Right click in the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the below command:

Net user administrator active:no

Removing/changing Administrator

The account you are speaking about is it a Microsoft Administrator Account or a Local Administrator Account?

  If it is a Microsoft Administrator Account then Password cannot be removed.
  
• 
  In order to remove the Password Protection for a Local Administrator Account you would need to Enable the Build In Administrator Account. This will help you in removing the Password.

  To Enable the Build In Administrator Account Please follow the below steps:

  Press Windows Logo + X
  
• 
  Click on Command Prompt (Administrator).
  
• 
  Type: net user administrator /active: yes
