This was already asked and never got an answer: Bitlocker recovery url hint removal or location where it resides in - Microsoft CommunityWe do not want the default pre-boot recovery blurb: "For more information on how to retrieve this key, go to aka.ms/recoverykeyfaq from another PC or mobile device" showing up on our company computers AFTER we have set a custom recovery message and included our own URL. We do not want our corporate users being directed to aka.ms/recoverykeyfaqHow can this be disabled/removed? Is there a text file within the system that is used for the blue BitLocker Recove

    :)

W10 search box shows suggestions - cannot be removed

    Hello,
after the latest Windows 10 update (from 20H2 to 21H2) the suggestions list in the Windows 10 search bothers me.
Attached are 2 pictures of how it looks after and before the update.
Is there any way to remove them? I already tried it with W10 Privacy, but without success.
These are not app suggestions that can be disabled. The problem has occurred since the latest update, so it shouldn't be too familiar. One is before and one is after the update ("Vorschläge" means suggestions):

How to remove/disable the 'aka.ms/recoverykeyfaq' message that shows after the pre-boot...

    laptop doesnt boot automatically

    This is what happened.

    1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
    2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
    3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
    4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
    5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
    6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Many thanks to all members who helped to troubleshoot problems.
