Windows 10: How to remove duplicate or old Android devices from Phone Link App?

I am facing a strange issue of my old or duplicate Android devices getting back in "Phone Link" app without getting added and there is no absolute way to remove them. I did extensive troubleshoot on removal, but nothing helped, I even wiped my Microsoft Windows 11 and did a fresh install.How to produce it?1. Use latest Windows 11 build.2. Link with your Microsoft account.3. Go to Settings -> "Bluetooth and Devices" -> "Mobile Devices" -> "Phone Link"4. Add mobile device Android.5. Cannot remove disconnected devices from Phone Link App on Android

Same here, I now have an extense collection of duplicated devices on my Phone Link Android app, there's no way to remove them, it makes the app looks ugly with lots of old connections and duplicated names, etc. Hope devs can fix this issue and add a remove option for past connections in the Android app.

I guess not. I also checked my devices in my Microsoft account and I have 0 mobile devices (Android/iOS).

When I formatted my computer a while back, I removed first my phone from the app, and I thought it would remove the computer from the phone app via synchronization. Now I have 2 computers with the same name listed.

 

Phone Link not showing Contact Names....again

I was able to fix this on my computer by following these steps:

1. In the Phone Link app on PC, go to Settings, click the My Devices tab, and use the ellipsis (...) menu on your device to remove it, then close the app.
   
2. On your phone (mine is an Android), go to Settings, Apps, Link to Windows, Open, then remove your PC from the Linked Computers section.
   
3. Restart your phone.
   
4. Re-link the phone and PC by restarting the Phone Link app on your PC and following the step to add your device.
   
5. Perhaps this is the critical thing, but I noticed in the Link to Windows app on Android, there is a toggle to "Sync contacts" under the list of Linked Computers, which was disabled for me. Turn this on.
   

Contacts are showing up again for me now - yay!
