Windows 10: How to remove "English Canada US Keyboard" from input methods?

I have two input methods for English and one for Arabic. However, I need just one for English United States. How can I remove the second English input method Canada?

Please answer the below questions to assist you better.

1. What is the make and model of the computer\keyboard?

2. Have you tried connecting other keyboards and check if the issue persists?

I suggest you to remove the other keyboard languages apart from English Language
and check if the issue still persists.

Follow the below steps for the same.

• Type Windows + X and then select Control Panel
• Select Languages.
• In Keyboard layout select the language.
• Select the other languages apart from the English language in the input method and then select Remove.

Windows 10 Keyboard Input Language for Canada

Since the November Windows 10 update, the only keyboard input language for Canada is multilingual.

The system NEEDS an English -ca (not multilingual - just plain old Canadian English).

The reason - on the current (ml) most of the punctuation keys now produce French letters with accents and other symbols.

The only option currently, is to change to English US keyboard input....BUT....the keyboard works, but now Cortana wonèt, as the language, region, and keyboard must all be set to Canada or English CA for Cortana to function in Canada.. See what I meanÉ.

Ièm pretty sure there used to be a Canadian, English only input language before, why was it removedÉ

We need it back to type and use Cortana. Please Help.

Did you install the English (Canada) language pack in Region and language?

I suggest you to remove the English (Canada) Language pack ad re-add it and then check if it resolve the issue.

Follow the steps to do so:

1. Click on the Start menu
and select Settings.

2. Click on Region & Language.

3. If English (Canada) is already installed, click on it and select
Remove option.

3. Now Click on Add a language.

5. Select English and then
English (Canada).

Try the above suggestion and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
