    Good Evening guys,

    Is there any way to remove the extra gap/space of pinned items in the windows 10 taskbar? I was using a program called "7+ Taskbar Tweaker", it has an interesting option "Remove Extra Gap" of pinned items.

    I was using this program for this only specific option and it worked fine until now but now it seems like now I have become an insider this software doesn't work on an updated version of windows 10 so what I want is an permanent change I am wondering is there a permanent setting I can use (possibly a registry hack) to accomplish this?

    Any help in anyway would be very much appreciated....

    Pin Windows 10 Maps to taskbar or create a desktop shortcut for it

    The information you shared help us isolate the issue. Sometimes, this type of issue can be caused by corrupted taskbar files. Let's try to clear some taskbar files first and check if it allow you to pin Maps. Note that clearing the taskbar files will remove
    your existing pinned apps. Below are the steps in clearing the taskbar files.

    1. Open Run by pressing Windows key +
    R    .

    2. Copy this command and hit enter:

    %APPDATA%\\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

    3. In the popped up windows, clear all items.

    4. Restart your PC.

    5. Pin the application again.

    Suggest you
    a. wait for 7+taskbar tweaker to be updated to be compatible
    or
    b. donate and try the alpha version which was where they were up to last I looked (but see their site)
