Windows 10: How to remove "I forgot my PIN" button from Windows 10 login screen?

I know with certainty that I will never forget my PIN. However, using my Surface, I frequently accidentally tap that button instead of the password field or "Sign in options" button. In some fun cases, like just a moment ago, after waiting the 3 minutes for Windows to do whatever it is doing, closing the reset box bluescreens my machine in the middle of unsaved work because I just closed the cover to do something else, not thinking Windows would take the liberty of crashing for me.I want that button gone from the login screen. Login screen: How to remove the 'I forgot my password/pin' link

For some reason, there is a link below the field where I enter my password on the login/lock screen that says 'I forgot my password/pin.'

I don't think this is normal, I have seen login screens without it.

I installed Win 10 using a 'local' account, then switched to a Microsoft account if this helps.

Looked for ways to remove this link but can't find any. Anyone know how to remove it?

 

Can't create pin for login. Pin stopped working

Try the steps here:

• Navigate to PC Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options. Click on I forgot my PIN link.
• Next, click on the Continue button in the Are you sure you forgot your PIN? screen.
• You can now add a new PIN and click OK.

I setup a login pin on my Laptop Account using my email address. I forgot my PIN and i cannot access my laptop anymore. How can i remove the PIN using my microsoft account? I already know its password.
