Arabic language font problem

I suggest you to remove the language pack, download the language pack and set it as default and check for status.

To remove the language pack, follow the steps below:

• Click on Start>Settings>Time & Language.
• In the left pane, click on Region & Language.
• Select the language and click on Remove.

To add a language pack, follow the steps below:

• Click on Start>Settings>Time & Language.
• In the left pane, click on Region & Language.
• Click on Add language.
• Select the language from the list, download and set as default.

Changing my own language font

Hi,

From the screen shot it seems you are using Google chrome to change the language font Which is downloaded from the internet. So, I suggest you to contact chrome support for further assistance.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please follow the steps below:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Internet options.
• Click on fonts.
• you can change the font as desired.

I have clicked on 'download all language fonts' in Windows 11 and now I have many languages system fonts which I cannot remove

There is a button link in Windows 11 Font view/manager under personalization->fonts OR font viewer in control panel that reads 'download fonts for all languages'.

Now this is really terrible UI design by Microsoft.

1. It does not ask to CONFIRM if you want to download all these fonts which it says there are many.

2. It does NOT place the new fonts in the user directory but makes them system fonts and dumps it all in windows/fonts folder.

3. it does NOT provide a 'REMOVE' foreign language' fonts option to selectively remove all these fonts it seems to permanently download since systemfonts cannot be removed easily by the user.

So, having downloaded all these fonts now that are in addition to the default font set from win 11 installation and which appears in registry key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts

how can I 1. delete all these extra language fonts? how can i recognize them from the default ones? and 2. how can I repair the registry entries? Font files cannot be removed as they are trustedinstaller.

It also seems the font viewer apps in windows only shows font files in the registry list and not actually all fonts in the directory? Do you somehow need to find the foreign fonts, get to trusted installer, delete them, then edit the registry file or upload a basic one?

I tried to delete some files with a 3rd party file explorer as trustedinstaller but even some of the foreign language fonts could not be deleted as it seems that a certain order of operations needs to be done for it to work.
