Hello all,I now see these parasite folders on my desktop when I click open / save as on many programs.totally unnecessary if I want to go the the libraries - I will just click the button below.this was the situation until yesterday - none of them were visible, only items / folders I have createdthings changed after using WinSetView from this topic to remove grouping, and solved one problem, to create another.https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/completely-disable-file-grouping-always-everywhere/ac31a227-f585-4b0a-ab2e-a557828eaec5so my guess is that it changes some registry, t

How to make Open/Save Dialog default to Libraries?

When I want to save a new file Windows 10 (Pro x64 21H2) generally opens the File Open/Save dialog to the last used directory, which is usually one of many on my NAS. However, instead of using the path I used to navigate to it (usually via a Libraries mapping) is uses the full path starting with //Network. This often results in a blown up tree in the navigation pane that I then have to collapse in several steps to see the Libraries entry. Is there some way to make the Open/Save dialog default instead to "Libraries"?

Libraries and My PC folders in Save As Dialog

Can anybody help in ADDING Libraries to and REMOVING the This PC folder from the Save As dialog? I know how to remove and add these in File Explorer, but have no luck in finding a solution for the Save As dialog. I found this thread, but when I get to the value to be changed it already is set to that.

When you have an SSD drive with a secondary HDD for files, you can remap libraries to the HDD but saving files from a program is a problem. I guess another option would be to remap the This PC folders to the HDD and not show the libraries. Anybody know how to do that as an alternative?
