Windows 10: How to remove microsoft account from local account

I logged into a windows program with my email not knowign it would log into the whole accouint for me i want to remove the email thats connected to ym local account is that possible?

Sure, but if you undo it you will lose a lot of abilities and functions that are available, but it's really a matter of preference. If you don't use those features, who am I to tell you to use them?

To convert back to local, just open Settings and go to Accounts, you'll see the option to "sign in with a local account instead" there, and it just takes a couple clicks.

when i click sign in with a local account it keeps telling me my password is wrong but its the right password because i used it to log into my hotmail account.

 

Try just leaving the password field blank.

 

i did but it still says the this field is required

 

I don't know what's going wrong?

 

when i woke up in the morning it let me sign int oa local accouint i guess i just needed to restart my pc.
