Windows 10: How to remove my identity presale from old laptop?

Helllo,Have you ever sold or gifted an old laptop to a neighbor or stranger? This pokey laptop might be good for a middle school age kid to tinker with. Perhaps one of my neighbor's grandchildren.I am looking for tips on how to cleanse this 1.4 GHz painfully slow computer of any traces of my identity.I tried simply re-installing Windows 10 Home. But that gave me some issues. So I am back to the original system image including many references to my Microsoft name and password.What would you recommend? Can I create a Microsoft account with a fictitious pseudonym? An account I can use for logging

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Verifying identity on new laptop

I cannot verify the identity on my new laptop. it seems stuck on that page, with the identity codes i have tried not being accepted. When i went on my old laptop and requested a new password they sent me a code to verify a change of password and that worked
fine on my old laptop. I have tried the old code and the new code on my new laptop but neither have been accepted.
