Windows 10: How to remove notification regarding Microsoft 365 from Windows Updates

I accidentally chose to install Windows 365 on one of my 8 computers while installing Windows 11. I do not use Windows 365 and was able to opt out of the automatic payment after 30 days of use. Now every time I open Windows Update, a bar opens on the screen and reads "Microsoft 365 has expired. Renew your subscription today." I have two options ... "Renew" or close the line by clicking on the "x" at it's end. That line will then disappear until the next time I open Windows Update after rebooting the computer. I realize that Microsoft wants to sell me the software, but these continual reminder

Remove Update Notification?

Hi,


I love this program but I have just a minor annoyance with the "Update Now" notification. Is there a way to disable it? I notice there isn't much tab/window options, but perhaps a command line modifier?

I don't have a particularly new GPU card, so any new updates are redundant to me, I prefer to stick to a working version that I'm accustomed to. I think currently I'm running 0.8.5. I do some game testing etc... as a hobby on Nvidia and Intel HD and this version works the best. Newer versions won't display the Intel HD memory usage as separate dedicated/dynamic, it just lumps them together as 1.

This version is still working great, just like to remove the "update notification" bar that keeps telling me to update.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Follow these steps to check if it works:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing the Windows Key and “I,” or alternatively search for Settings in the Windows search bar and click the corresponding result.

Step 2: Click Notifications & Actions in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a screen providing access to all of the settings related to notifications and the Action Center.

Step 3: Click the System icon, then select Notifications and actions from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Look for the Notifications subheading, where you will see a number of toggles for various types of notifications. The following is a list of the settings you can toggle on this screen:

• Get notifications from apps and other senders
• Show notifications on the lock screen
• Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.
